Administration Eyesight Training Course

Level 1

Course Overview

Array Training can provide your company with ’Administrating Eyesight Training’ which allows appointed personnel within your company to administer NDT eyesight tests on personnel that hold NDT qualifications. Annual vision tests are required in order to maintain valid NDT qualifications.

We we will be able to cover the following areas within the training:

• Ishihara Colour Vision Test
• Shades of Grey Trade Test
• Near Vision Test
• Far Vision Test (if required)

You will be required to confirm that you can provide the following items prior to the course start date:

• Ishihara Plates
• Near Vision JI chart
• Shades of Grey (Dr Kolbl ONE/TUV/BV Eye Examination)
• Other plates used by your company

Alternatively, if you do not hold these items, then we will provide this for you. However, your company should consider investing in this equipment in order to carry out the eyesight tests.

Course Objectives

Attendees will gain an understanding of NDT vision test requirements, importance of maintaining NDT vision requirements, use of the common NDT vision test equipment.

Course Content

Training to include use of the following NDT vision test equipment:

• Ishihara Colour Vision Test
• Shades of Grey Trade Test
• Near Vision Test
• Far Vision Test (if required)

If your company does not hold the vision test equipment mentioned above, we advise investing in this equipment in order to carry out the eyesight tests for personnel going forward.
